Getting started

How do I save a video?

In Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or another app, tap Share on the video, then tap Saavr. If you don't see Saavr, scroll the row of apps to the end, tap More, and turn Saavr on (you can drag it to the front). You can also copy a link and add it from the Library in Saavr.

Which sites work?

Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts work best. Facebook, Pinterest, X and Threads videos also work, and most other links still become a card.

I didn't get the confirmation email.

Check your junk or spam folder for an email from hello@saavr.app. You can send it again from the "Check your email" screen or from Settings. You need to confirm your email before you can save videos.

Cards

Why is my card missing information?

Saavr builds cards from what the creator published. When the details are in the comments or behind "link in bio", the card can be incomplete. You can edit any card, or paste the missing text (for example from the comments) and Saavr will fill the card in.

Why won't some Instagram videos play in Saavr?

Instagram doesn't allow videos with licensed music to play outside its own app. For those, Saavr shows the cover and an Open in Instagram button. The card still works as usual.

Is the information on cards accurate?

Cards are made by AI from the creator's content and can contain mistakes. Check important details against the original video. Health, fitness and parenting content comes from the creator and isn't medical advice.

Your account

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password? and we'll email you a reset link. Resets only go to confirmed email addresses.

How do I change my password?

In Saavr, open Settings (your avatar at the top) and tap Change password. You'll need your current password; if you don't remember it, sign out and use Forgot your password? instead.

How do I delete my account?

In Saavr, open Settings (your avatar at the top) and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, saves, card edits, collections and notes. See the privacy policy for details.
